My first passage is on page 178. That last paragraph at the end really shocked me as I read it, because Peter was finally happy to be back with Kit but they both realized that Tom wasn’t back and that something bad could’ve happened to him. For readers it could make them think a lot for what might happen next in the story, which makes it mysterious in a way.
My second passage is on page 186. At the very beginning of the page it tells you how they we’re planning to kill the Queen. Now at this part, Peter understood why they got they wanted the play so they could plan they’re attempt at killing her. I think that Peter got more scared and really wanted to stop them but he still needed a plan.
My third passage is on page 188. Now Kit was trying to warn Peter about the man that was on a horse that was coming towards the tower, but Peter already knew he was coming. I found that it was funny in a way that in a moment like that Peter was taking a bit of is humor out on how Kit kept on whistling to warn him to come out. I think that probably calmed him down a bit more.
My fourth passage is on page 211. In the second paragraph Peter said that “ I don’t like remembering this, but it was his life or mine”. As I read that sentence, I made me think for a while because it showed that this story was being told from the past which means that Peter is telling this story from the past and not the present. And that got me thinking a lot for what may happen more later on in the story.

Tower Hill is a place where someone with a lot of power will bring another person who has done something wrong or has been accused of something and gets there head chopped off. This is something that would happen the old days like in the book. In the book, it is Walsingham who sliced peoples heads off at tower hill or sometimes elsewhere.

Discussion Director:
Q1: Who do you think is the man who Peter injured very harshly?
A1: I think that it might have been one of the leaders of the conspirators, like Sir Philip.
Q2: What do you think will happen to Peter?
A2: I think that maybe Duncan will lead some of the other conspirators to Peter’s house and then take Peter and Kit and or maybe his family.
Q3: Do you think that Peter is the narrator in the book and if yes is there words that tell you that the story is the past and Peter is telling it?
A3: I think that Peter has grown up and he is telling the story to someone and when I read the book I saw a lot of past tense used.
Q4: At the end of the story what do you think will happen to both, Kit and Peter?
A4: I think that they will get married and then they will be very close and secretive agents for the Queen.
Q5: What do you think will happen to Sir Philip and the other conspirators?
A5: I think that some will be killed and others put in jail (if they one).
Q6: Now that Peter came back home and found Kit what do you think they will do?
A6: I think that they will go back to London and tell Sir Joseph and Sir Robert everything that happened and while going there they might meet a few other conspirators.
